The Mehrangarh Museum Shop, located high above the city of Jodhpur in the 15th century Mehrangarh Fort, recreates the legendary atmosphere of the zenana, where luxurious and exotic riches from around the globe were collected for the royal women. The contemporary shop, situated in a carefully restored space in the Fort’s museum, offers visitors an entrancing array of exclusive treasures, souvenirs and memories.

Profits from the Museum Shop support ongoing conservation and restoration of Mehrangarh Fort and the nearby Ahichhatragarh Fort at Nagaur. It is the only accredited Indian member of the international Museum Store Association (MSA) and in 2007 was honoured by Time magazine by selection in their Best of Asia listing.
