The Jodhpur royal family traces its origins to Kannauj, one of India’s oldest kingdoms. Since ancient times this legendary land has been famous for its peace, prosperity and beauty, and for the production of traditional ittars (perfume essences). Our master perfumer has been creating scents for Rajasthan’s royal families for eight generations, and his fragrances are distilled in the traditional process, from pure blossoms grown in the Kannauj area. Each of our essences comes to you in a delicate, tasseled 5 ml glass bottle, and is nestled in a case of deep blue silk. Just a tiny drop will envelop you in scent.

Each fragrance within the collection evokes a different aspect of Jodhpur’s unique and fabled kingdom – of the romantic desert of Marwar, of Mehrangarh’s magnificent Chokelao Gardens, of an enthralling history, and, above all, of a spirit as rare as our rains.
